My 3 year old is really in to taking pictures. I think he just likes to use our stuff more than anything. As a result we decided to opt for a shock-resistant video camera. It was expensive! We wanted him to be able to use these things without us worrying or hounding him every 2 seconds to be careful. We wanted him to be able to explore. I am not sure how he managed it (as I don’t think he ever dropped it) but it broke. So much for it being shock resistant. I decided that I would buy one for my son and see how he got along with it. I had a look on Ebay and managed to get one for quite cheap.

I have to say that the camera hasn’t broken yet and it is designed that way. I really like it and it has a few mini games on it that my son likes using. He has used it out and about a fair bit and loves taking pictures of random things around the house. It has also made him leave our camera alone which has been nice. I would say the only downside is that it is 2 megapixels and although this might be plenty for a kid starting out, after him having the Kidizoom for a year I feel as though he deserves to have an upgraded camera. I was in the market for a new computer and I got more than what I bargained for. A Great Gift for Dad

Fathers day is coming up and I found it really hard to know what to buy for dad this year. I get as tired of buying him socks or food as he gets receiving them. So this year we are going with something a bit bigger, we got him a home wine cooler . I chipped in with David to buy the cooler and Tony and Elizabeth are buying some wine to go into it.

He loves wine and this is one of those things that he would never buy for himself. I think that makes it the perfect gift, if it is something he will use and wants but would never spend the money on himself then us buying it for him is a good idea.
