Mediterranean Cruises Are a Great Holiday Option

January 16th, 2012

Mediterranean cruises are a great holiday option. Going on a cruise is different from what most people do for their holidays. People usually choose a destination and then they spend their holiday there. They don’t move around much and simply try to get to see as much of one location as possible. This is very different from what you do when you are one of the various Mediterranean cruises: you travel around all the time – the ship will be on the move every day. You’ll stop at some ports and can explore the town closest to the port for a few hours, but you’ll never spend much time in the same place. Mediterranean cruises are ideal for people who would like to see many different places and who are able to relax on a ship. So it’s not the ideal kind of holiday for someone who suffers from motion sickness of course.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Working Environment

November 25th, 2011

My sister works in a cruise company known as Royal Caribbean Cruises. She has been with the company for over six years now. She started her career there as a member of the cabin crew back. However, because of her perseverance and devotion to her work and the company, she got promoted in no time and now she is already part of the Management Team. I often hear stories from her about the reasons why she values her work so much. She said that all her co-employees on board really make her happy and fulfilled. According to her, their relationship with each other is more of a family rather than mere co-workers. There was never an instance wherein a competition arose – if there ever were, competitions were always friendly. Competition and company politics never became a problem to them. They make every effort to work towards a common goal – that is to make the cruise liner very appealing and competitive.

Looking for Cruise Deals

November 9th, 2011

If you are looking for last minute cruise deals you will want to start online. There are many websites that will offer you discounted rates if you are willing to travel on short notice. Many of these deals are for travel with two weeks of the time that you book the package. Keep in mind that the price you are quoted , will only include the cost of the cruise itself. If you will need a flight or hotel the night before or after the cruise , you will have to book these separately. It may also be a good idea to reach out to a travel agent in order to see if they are offering any specials. They may be able to put together a complete package that includes your flight , as well. If you live near a port that you can drive to , you will have even more options.

Check out All Hawaii Cruises Before You Decide

August 19th, 2011

There are many Hawaii Cruises that are popular among holiday-makers. Some people would chose cruises that go around only the Hawaiian Islands while others would want to travel further to more exotic locations. These cruises are usually 7 to 16 days long. Look at your budget and the time you have at hand and decide the type of cruise you would like to book. Full island cruises are more popular and they usually last for 6-7 days. They stop at almost all of the islands but only for a few hours so it is ideal for those who are only interested in sight-seeing and shopping. However, if you are more about exploration and taking in the local culture and activities, such as sports and festivals etc, then opt for the cruise that offers individual stops. They dock in at a single port for even a whole day. The French Polynesian cruises are longer and take you around other islands such as Bora Bora too.
